Torte is a German style cake that consists of a layered sponge filled with flavoured buttercream. The buttercream is made from an unsalted butter,custard and fondant icing that is mixed together and then flavoured. The Buttercream tastes as rich as an icecream or a mousse and will last up to a week refrigerated. CHOCOLATE TORTE- A chocolate sponge filled with jam and a chocolate flavoured buttercream.
HAZELNUT TORTE- A Plain sponge filled with jam and Buttercream flavoured with a Praline paste. Praline Paste is made from Hazelnuts.
RUM TORTE- This is a chocolate torte that has rum sprinkled
onto the chocolate sponge base and added to the chocolate
buttercream. The top is decorated with grated chocolate and
rumballs.
COFFEE TORTE- A Plain sponge that is sprinkled with Tia Maria and filled with jam and buttercream that is flavoured with Tia Maria and coffee.
VANILLA TORTE- Recommended for only those with a sweet tooth. A Plain
sponge filled with jam and vanilla flavoured buttercream
